FMBA is the first and only professional organization for Muslim attorneys in the state of Florida. While our membership is open to all who may have an interest in issues relating to Muslim attorneys and the Muslim community at large, our activities and events are geared towards the interests of Muslim attorneys as well as to advocate for issues relevant to the Muslim community.

Wayne E. Rawlins, a community justice and community economic development consultant, has assisted hundreds of communities nationwide in developing and implementing successful community revitalization, anti-gang, and ex-prisoner reentry strategies. Rawlins co-authored, “Planning for Reentry: The 2004 South Florida Reentry Summit”, published by The Urban Institute, which has been used by jurisdictions across the country as a tool for developing comprehensive multi-agency ex-offender reentry plans. Rawlins’ works have been highlighted in national and international conferences and publications.<
